TalkTalk Wholesale Services officially rebrands as PlatformX Communications, challenging the status quo in the wholesale connectivity market

PlatformX Communications today launches its new name and brand to the wholesale market as it unveils its commitment to challenge the status quo across the industry.

Born from the combination of Virtual1 and TalkTalk’s Wholesale Services and national network business, PlatformX Communications, or PXC, is the UK’s largest independent wholesale telecoms platform for connectivity, cloud, voice and ICT services, backed by the UK’s largest network.

The company - the UK's fastest growing wholesale connectivity provider - is purely wholesale, meaning no competition with customers. It has a holistic product portfolio accessible via its marketleading software platform, 1Portal, and other industry-leading technology including APIs and Software Defined Networking capability from core to edge.

PXC offers customers access to its Tier 1 national network covering 98% of UK premises, and is the only scale aggregator of Alternative Networks.

PXC, which has been operating as an independent company within TalkTalk Group from March 1st 2024, is led by CEO Tom O’Hagan.
